Moving Forward

“And we’re gonna be a good example for the kids. So they know the kind of love they deserve. And we’re gonna embarrass them at every opportunity, even when we’re old and gray.”

Jude softly chuckled, “We’re already old and gray.”

“Beside the point,” TJ wetly chuckled. “And we’re gonna see them get married and have babies. We’re gonna have a good life, Judie. I promise.”

Jude Greene had a lot on his plate. His oldest son was set to graduate in early June with a 4.0 GPA, he and his mate were in the works of planning their youngest son's Bar Mitzvah celebration, and their triplets were approaching double digits in age. It should've all been smooth sailing with each of their six children growing more independent every day.

Only, life threw a curveball: Jude was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Ultimately, all of the Greenes' lives were completely flipped upside down. Out of everything in his life, this was what he expected the least.

With the memories of Sarah's own losing battle with cancer, the pressure from the family to be strong for Jude, and Jude's own sorrow, the Greenes decided one thing: they were going to move past this. Together.
