Power of Three

“Oh,” Dr. Chang stated.

And that was the last thing either man wanted to hear was, oh.

“’Oh?’ What does, ‘oh,’ mean?” Jude could feel the panic creeping up the back of his neck.

“It’s nothing bad,” Dr. Chang quickly assured. Instead, she had a large smile on her face as she informed, “All three seem healthy.”

Jude's and TJ's lives were about to get a whole lot busier.

As their sons got older, Jude felt like he had a handle on fatherhood. They had a steady schedule with the older boys going to school and then with Oliver going to soccer practice twice a week with games on Saturdays. Jude always made sure that Finn had his glasses, and he always made sure that the bathroom door was closed when Kit used the Big Boy Potty.

In nine months, the Greene household as a whole was about to be flipped on their heads. While Jude had assumed they were a family of five going on six, he was shocked to learn that they were a family of five going on eight. And even though Jude had never planned much in his life, this definitely wasn't part of the plan.
